Aim and Scope: JP Journal of Solids and Structures publishes original research in the Mechanics of Solids and Structures, supporting applied science and engineering. The journal fosters global exchange of ideas, covering both theoretical and practical aspects across materials science, mathematics, physical sciences, and engineering. Topics include linear and nonlinear material and structural behavior, instability, soft and biological structures, micro- and nano-mechanics, architected structures, smart materials, and multi-physics problems. Related areas like heat transfer, wave propagation, and optimization are considered if broadly significant. Articles using AI to support, but not replace, physical laws are welcome.
The journal do not charge any Article Processing Charges (APC) for publishing their articles.
The journal operates on a no publication charge model. Authors are not required to pay fees for submitting, peer-reviewing, or publishing their manuscripts.
The JPSS is a semi-annual journal appearing in June and December.
